Dr. Bevilacqua was an invited lecturer at the American Diabetes Association’s 70th annual scientific sessions held in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Bevilacqua’s lecture
focused on the surgical management of the diabetic foot and he discussed surgical procedures designed to help heal chronic lower extremity wounds.

Dr. Bevilacqua co-authored an article titled “Surgical Offloading of the Diabetic Foot” which was part of a special joint issue of the Journal of Vascular Surgery
(JVS) and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association (JAPMA). This dual issue focused entirely on the importance of amputation prevention in people
