Dr. Steve Kwak is a native of New Jersey and in the newest member of the NJOS team. Dr. Kwak completed his undergraduate education at Duke University and medical
school education at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He subsequently completed his orthopaedic residency training at Tufts-New England Medical
Center and the New England Baptist Hospital. Dr. Kwak has trained with international leaders in shoulder, hip, knee and ankle arthroscopy at the Southern California
Orthopedic Institute in one year subspecialty fellowship program. During his fellowship he helped develop the state of the art in arthroscopic surgery in addition
to participating in the care of many professional athletes. He has written a book chapter on arthroscopic hip labral repair and has presented research in cartilage
repair and ligament reconstruction at national and international meetings.
